Alright then. Getting these days started.
I’m seriously having a stupid time getting out of bed as early as I want. For the days I’m at home, I’ve been aiming for 7:30 am. However, with nothing particularly pressing to get out of bed for at that time, I officially wake at 10 :/ I think it’d just be nice to have more time in my mornings to get stuff done and not feel rushed before I go to work. It’d also be nice to wake up early and make Dave breakfast more often…or at least get his rice crispy bar and cola ready for him :]
Sooo, starting tomorrow, I think I’m gonna try a few methods to coax myself out from my wonderfully heavy blankets in the morning. I know there’s things like actually hopping outta bed and taking a few really good and deep breaths. I’ve done this before and I think it works well. It gets the blood pumping and suchhhh. I’m also thinking of playing some of my favorite pick me up songs to start with a positive mood (I’m a grumpy little morning person). So far on my list I’ve got Lykke Li’s “Dance Dance Dance”, Fanfare Ciocarlia’s “Asfalt Tango”, The Rapture’s “Whoo! Alright-Uh…huh” and Yeah Yeah Yeah’s “Hysteric”. They make me smile and wanna dance, thus more body movement :]
On top of that, I just got some really yummy french roast coffee to brew. Here’s to hoping it all works
