I think 2011 has been one of my busiest painting years thus far. I painted a bunch for my Shifts in Nature show and I’ve done more commissions than ever. One of my paintings saw New York before I could and I got to make some people smile. I experimented and learned more about my style and what I could do and need to work on. Exciting stuff. It kinda makes me think I could do this as a living. Maybe. Perhaps. So it being the end of the year, I’ve been looking over this year’s work and looking forward to whats to come in 2012. So far, its looking like a busy year… and I like it :]
I’ve got some new commissions lined up. I’m starting to plan a personal mini series loosely based on my skewed interpretation of The National’s song “Anyone’s Ghost”. Probably gonna be digital pieces. I’m working with Dave’s band, The Ready Aim Fire!, with their EP cover art, shirt designs and everything design in between. I’m helping my uncle design his wedding. I’m thinking of making some prints. Annnd who knows what else the new year holds… but I’m excited :] I’m really thankful for what I have and the support I receive.
